Are you mobile?

One of me in SL

This is "me"

Hope you all had a good weekend and are raring to go! What will you be doing in 2015? There are those on the technology front who thing that you will NOT be using a PC. John Paul Titlow writing in the ReadWriteWeb offers some insight into why this might be so.

If you are a lecturer you might want to find some help on how to deal with all this mobile stuff. Here comes JISC to the rescue again just in the nick of time. Access the Mobile Learning Infokit and download the report, Emerging Practice in a Digital Age. Things are really starting to move on the education digital front. If you’re interested in what’s happening on the technology front and what will be the “latest thing” in the next few months, just register with Gartner for their webinars.

Must go – have to watch a webinar 🙂

About timjohnson
I came through a tortuous path to the role of Adviser in Digital Literacy in the Information and Learning Services Department. In the past I was a: Senior Lecturer in Health Informatics, Senior Lectuer in Midwifery, Midwifery Sister, Staff Midwife, Nurse, Secretary, Bars Manager. I would have liked to be a jeweller and silver smith but of course there is always retirement for that :)
