These caught my eye

One of me in SL

This is "me"

It’s really interesting how people sell ideas. Look at these two following links, they are both talking about the same research – which would attract you most? Microsoft Kinect can sense old age illness or HCC: Elder-Centered Recognition Technology for the Assessment of Physical Function. I think someone should talk to Missouri University about presentation.

Just have to keep saying this. I’m so glad John Kerrimuir has decided to restart Virtual World Watch – it just wasn’t the same without this really useful resource being available to us 🙂

From the blog of Clairey Ross at the UCL Centre for Digital Humanities one of my favourite bloggers in Centre that does some amazing stuff. This particular post contains some interesting thoughts on interaction in museums. A touch of what we are doing down in the City Campus (must find a link for this – please anyone who’s listening).

About timjohnson
I came through a tortuous path to the role of Adviser in Digital Literacy in the Information and Learning Services Department. In the past I was a: Senior Lecturer in Health Informatics, Senior Lectuer in Midwifery, Midwifery Sister, Staff Midwife, Nurse, Secretary, Bars Manager. I would have liked to be a jeweller and silver smith but of course there is always retirement for that :)
